Oracle Insights – Week of November 20, 2023

Our card for the second phase of the moon from the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms Oracle Deck by Colette Baron-Reid is the Desert Prince. Here we see a muscular man holding a sword standing in front of a lioness. You can also see the moon in the sky. My first impression is a handsome man, but is it really what this card is all about?

The setting for this card is in a desert and we are reminded that the desert is a dry place and can go for extended periods of time without rain. Think about the cactus and how it adapts to these conditions to not only survive but thrive. Dry arid lands are also known for displaying mirages, seeing what’s not there.

Our message here is to see through the mirage and not be blinded by our ego. Be mindful and remember that if something is too good to be true, it usually is. Pay attention to false promises and don’t take shortcuts. Be like the cactus, stand tall and patient for the rains will come and wash whatever illusion we are facing away.

Remember every life has its desert periods, but it’s important to stay strong and thrive. Prioritize self-care, seek support, embrace personal growth, and maintain a positive mindset. Remember that even in the toughest times, there is always the potential for growth and a brighter future.
