Reiki 1 class which includes Usui / Holy Fire III Reiki Level 1 as outlined by the International Center for Reiki Training.

• The origin and history of Reiki & the Reiki ideals
• The nature of Reiki energy, why people get sick, and how Reiki heals
• The Human Energy System, including the aura and chakras
• Hand placement for giving Reiki to self and others
• Gassho meditation
• Byosen Scanning: Using the sensitivity in the hands to locate areas needing healing, (usually in the aura) and how to treat them
• Reiji-Ho: Using inner guidance to know how and where to treat
• Kenyoku: Dry bathing, a method to purify your energy field
• Reiki I symbol: How to draw, activate, and to use it
• Practice time is given so students know from experience how the energy feels
• Reiki 1 Placement

This class is a combination of lecture, discussion, demonstration, and practice time. The class includes an instruction manual, handouts, and a Level I certificate. On completion of the class, you will be able to give Reiki treatments to yourself and others in person. The class is 5 hours and taught in person.
